Record Attendance at 2012 Key Leaders Luncheon
The YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas hosted the Hall of Famer, businessman and Texas Rangers CEO and president Nolan Ryan at its 9th annual Key Leaders Luncheon on September 25th at the Fairmont Hotel in Dallas. A record-setting crowd, up 50% over 2011, of business and community leaders attended the event. The luncheon raised money for the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas and encouraged area business leaders to become involved with the community.
“We are so grateful that Nolan Ryan, in the midst of a being one win from a third consecutive trip to the postseason, could join us at our 9th annual Key Leaders luncheon,” said Gordon Echtenkamp, President/CEO of the Dallas YMCA. “Innovative and unique programming such as our Make A Splash programs in lower income apartment complexes, our collaboration with LIVESTRONG at the YMCA to help cancer survivors and our Play and Learn program which provides no cost pre-school education programs to children, are just the beginning of a greater impact the YMCA will continue to have in our communities.”
