Registration forms for the programs you are requesting assistance for should be turned in with your application. Scholarships are awarded specifically. They will not be awarded for programs you do not request on the form.
You will be notified within two weeks of a decision regarding your application.
When you apply for a scholarship, you will indicate on the first page form what program you are requesting assistance for.
Any additional requests after approval (in the same calendar year) will need to be approved through the Business Services Director by downloading this form. The entire re-application process is not needed.
Please note that your financial assistance will be applied and effective on the date the letter is signed and accepted by you. No prorated credit will be given unless the membership/program has not yet begun.
Scholarships will now be awarded annually beginning January 1st. All scholarships awarded by the Frisco Family YMCA will expire on December 31st. Day Camp scholarships expire the last day camp is offered.
You will be required to renew your scholarship to continue it past each expiration date. One reminder will be sent thirty days before your scholarship ends. It is your responsibility to make sure we keep your contact information current so that we may contact you.
All afterschool applications are processed separately by the School Age Services Department at our Association Office. I will forward them a copy of your application if you have requested assistance for afterschool you will receive a response from them once a decision has been made. The School Age Service's number is 972-920-9622 if you should need to check on the status.
