Baseball

Developing Well Grounded Players

Youth Baseball (Ages 5 - 12)

Baseball formats include t-ball, softball and baseball.  Our baseball league is to have develop skills, learn sportmanship, teamwork and have fun.

Y Baseball is designed to teach young baseball players the fundamentals of the game. Players will learn how to catch, throw, and bat in a fun team atmosphere.

Each participant receives a baseball game jersey.

Registration - Begins December 1, 2013 and runs thru March 30, 2014

Games – Season begins on April 25th and lasts 8 games

Practices Baseball practices are either held at the branch or at a local venue. One or two weeknight practices per week scheduled by the volunteer head coach.

Jerseys – Shirts are included in the price.

Small Fry Baseball (Ages 3 - 5)

Small Fry Baseball offers a entry level baseball program to introduce kids to organized sports. Small fry Baseball will meet one time a week on Friday nights. This is a one hour a week program that will offer 30 minutes of staff lead skills and drills followed by a 30 minute game. Parents are invited to get involved and help coach on the field.

Registration - Registration begins December 1, 2013 and runs through March 30, 2014

Parent Meeting - April 17, 2014 6:30p at the Irving YMCA

Games – Season begins on Friday April 25th and lasts 6 weeks. Games will be played on Friday nights at the Irving YMCA

Practices – There are no practices outside of the 30 minutes on Friday night.

Jerseys – Shirts are included in the registration fee.
