+ - Personal Training
One-on-one training sessions with a certified YMCA personal trainer.
Fees:
$50 one session
$225 five sessions
$400 ten sessions
$750 twenty sessions
Sessions are one hour each, available to YMCA Members only.
Double Up Personal Training
Need a partner to motivate you? Try personal training with a friend. Schedule a training session for two with a personal trainer and help keep each other motivated.
Fees:
$75 one session
$350 five sessions

+ - MobileFit
MobileFit will tell you how many reps, sets and how much weight to do on EVERY exercise. It will even tell you how much time to rest between each set! The workout log has photos of each exercise/machine for ease of location and proper exercise technique. The workouts adapt and change everyday based on your feedback keeping you "guessing" and anticipating your next workout! In Addition, you will be assigned your very own wellness coach who will monitor your progress and help keep you on track.
+ - Personal Fitness Program
Personal Fitness Program (PFP)
This program is designed for the new or returning exerciser. Our Fitness Staff will offer guidance, motivation and structure to help you start and stick with an exercise program, leading to a more physically active lifestyle.
This program includes:
·Four individual appointments with your PFP counselor.
·A fitness plan based on your needs and goal.
·Your commitment to working out 3 days per week.
·Weekly feedback.
The YMCA PFP is a 12-week program:
Weeks 1-4: Cardio training
Weeks 4-8: Cardio and 6 strengthraining machines.
Weeks 8-12: Cardio and 12 strength training machines.

+ - Silver Sneakers and Silver Stars
Silver Stars
Silver Stars is part of the Active Older Adults program. The Silver Stars go on planned monthly outings and have many in-house activities as well. At the YMCA, some of us may be older, but we are still young at heart! Just look for Silver Stars flyers for information concerning upcoming events.
A.O.A Aerobics Classes
(Active Older Adults)
The Lake Highlands Family YMCA offers low impact aerobics classes that are great for older adults looking to increase cardiovascular endurance and muscular strength. See Aerobics schedule for times and dates.
Gentle Joints/AOA Water Fitness
This class is designed for people with chronic conditions such as arthritis and for those who do not want or cannot have a high intensity workout. This class provides gentle motions and helps increase joint flexibility, range of motion, muscle strength and endurance.
