The Oak Cliff Family YMCA explained that Silver Sneakers is a program designed to help older adults live healthy, active lifestyles. I liked working toward my health goals in a group setting, and my health insurance allowed me to join with no out-of-pocket expenses. Within 6 months, I lost 25 pounds.
