Area Business Leaders Gather For YMCA Lunch

On October 4th, the Y held the 15th Annual YMCA Key Leaders Lunch.  Five hundred community and YMCA leaders from around the Texas area were in attendance. Crayton Webb, Chairman of the YMCA Board of Directors welcomed the group and served as the afternoon’s host. The event encouraged attending business leaders to become more involved in the community by highlighting the YMCA’s future strategies for strengthening the foundation of community.

Robert Kaplan, President and CEO of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas served as the lunch keynote.  Lee Cullum, host of KERA’s CEO, was the moderator.  Through a warm and engaging conversation they touched upon everything from tariffs, China, emerging markets, the aging of the US work force to gas and shale growth, global warming and Texas’ positive economy.
