Designed by Latinos for Latinos, Salsa Sabor y Salud was the first national program of its kind designed to encourage healthy lifestyles among Latino families. Kraft Foods and the National Latino Children’s Institute (NLCI) launched the program in 2003, and together with the YMCA, continue to bring the program to additional communities.
