FRISCO EXECUTIVE TIMES - FEBRUARY

Dear YMCA Friends and Family,

We know that when we work as one, we can move people and communities forward. That’s why we are committed to providing support to our neighbors and opportunities for kids, adults and families to learn, grow and thrive.

The Frisco Family YMCA Board of Managers and staff are beginning to organize the 2020 “Annual Campaign” for youth and families in Frisco and surrounding communities. We hold this campaign to support families with financial hardships in our community. Our promise is that “no child will be turned away due to an inability to pay a fee”.

In 2020 we are looking at providing over $150,000 in support to youth and families that need our help. We would like to extend an opportunity for you to consider contributing. All money raised will remain with the Frisco Y and be wisely invested in the lives of our youth and families by helping pay for participation in Y programs and membership.

With your help we will continue to offer free 12-week exercise programs to over 45 cancer survivors, 100’s of teens will participate in free Youth Circuit and Teen Fit Classes, and over 100 youth will be provided scholarship assistance to participate in Summer Day Camp and Youth Sports programs. This important program helps to fulfill our Y Mission and provide YMCA values to all families and youth regardless of financial ability.

In January we Kicked Off the Community Phase of the Annual Campaign. We ask you to consider helping us by making a financial contribution. Remember, the YMCA is a 501C(3), non-profit organization, so your contribution is tax deductible in full!

We are grateful for all the members of our Y family and thank you for your continued support.

Together, we make a difference.

Warmest Regards,

Bill Markell Executive Director/VP of Operations Frisco Family Y/YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas
