Dear Frisco Y Members and Friends,

We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your generous support to the 2019 Frisco YMCA Annual Campaign and share some of the Y’s impact this year because of your donation. Thanks to your support the Y has been able to keep our promise that no child, family or individual will be turned away due to an inability to pay a fee.

Your Frisco Family YMCA provides membership services to over 6,000 individuals in their quest to live a healthier lifestyle. With your help, this includes over 600 youth ages 9 to 14 years of age that participated in Youth Circuit and Teen Fit classes for free as part of their family membership at the Y.

Your donation is also funding our cancer survivor program, LiveSTRONG at the YMCA, which provides a free 12-week membership and cancer recovery program to individuals in remission or being treated for cancer. Approximately 50 individuals have participated twice a week in hour long sessions with a personal trainer helping them to regain flexibility and strength.

This year, an average of 32 youth are registered weekly for an outdoor summer day camp experience at “Y Camp on the Lake”, 2,500 kids learned skills and made friends in YMCA youth sports programs and over 140 sons and daughters got to spend quality time with their dad in our Y Adventure guides program.  Without your support many of these youth and families would not have had the opportunity to participate due to financial difficulties.

When you give to the Frisco Y, you continue to strengthen our community and move us all forward. As the nation’s leading nonprofit for youth development, healthy living and social responsibility, the Y uses your gift to make a meaningful, enduring impact in Frisco and surrounding communities.
