Spreading Christmas Cheer At The 3rd Annual Catalyst Christmas

On December 17th, the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas held its 3rd Annual Catalyst Christmas. Catalyst Christmas collects and delivers goods to seniors with mobility challenges, those with transportation issues, and communities who typically can't make it out to branch-based food and essential distribution facilities.  This year, the Y is expanding efforts past southern Dallas County with seven local branches where staff and volunteers will assemble and deliver boxes to roughly 350 families all within 24 hours. 

Items delivered: non-perishable food items, toiletries like feminine care products, shampoo, body wash, etc., and household essentials like laundry detergent, hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper, etc.
