Coaches meetings are mandatory for all new coaches and optional for returning coaches. All coaches meeting will be held at Cross Timbers YMCA or will consist of a conference call. Coaches meetings are typically scheduled on Thursday evening two weeks prior to the start of the season.
As a volunteer coach you choose the location, day and time your team's practices. Practice times are dependent on which sport and league you coach. We coordinate with the local school districts and area churches to provide practice space. For some of our leagues we are not able to provide practice space due to limited availability. Practices for each sport begins the week of the season start date.
Selecting your practice time: Practice registration is done online through Sign Up Genius.
Practice time selection order: Coaches coaching multiple teams will be allowed to select their practice times first. You must be the head coach of the team to fall into this category. Remaining slots will be based on age of team you are coaching. More information will be provided on this at the coaches meeting.
