What is even more important than fun?  Our activities give each camper an opportunity to build confidence and PRACTICE character in their actions as being responsible part of a cabin group. We nurture character development in campers by teaching the values of respect, caring, responsibility and honesty. With Camp Grady Spruce, your campers will:

Choose from a variety of activities that require multiple attempts to master, prompting campers to face their fears, head-on. Kids discover their competence and confidence when they try, and try again, and achieve. Developing the camp spirit is also an important part of each child's experience. Before and after crazy, fun filled days, we take time for reflection and gratitude. When youth unplug from technology, they invest in each other. We encourage an environment of authenticity so campers are free to be themselves.
