Waves Swim Team Places 3rd

On July 25th-28th, the Dallas YMCA hosted the YMCA Lone Star Swim Meet, which brought together more than 750 swimmers in over 150 events. Swimmers ages 5 to 21, representing 33 YMCA teams from across Texas competed at the Frisco ISD Natatorium.

The Park Cities Y Waves team placed 3rd in the Year Round division and had several swimmers earn personal recognition for High Points Leaders in their age and gender groups. Nick Moore placed 1st in the 15-21 Boys, Paul Radke placed 2nd in the 13-14 boys, Brooks Kirchen placed 3rd in the 11-12 boys and Cameron Laurie placed 3rd in the 9-10 boys. The forty Waves team members swam in over 150 different events during the four day meet.
