Encouraging and motivating you to take action

The Town North Family YMCA offers a variety of programs that are designed to promote our four character values: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility.

At the YMCA, we offer activities for every generation, from Parent/Child swim lessons to seniors' water aerobics.  The journey of a family is written by experiencing life together at the YMCA.

Active Older Adults
The YMCA has developed several activities to encourage and motivate mature adults to take action, get engaged and establish a stronger community of friends through the Y.

Adventure Guides
While activities with the whole family are important, we see tremendous value in supporting and strengthening the ability of a father and child to communicate at an early age. The YMCA Adventure Guides program is designed to strengthen the relationship and bond between father and child.

Once a child reaches school age, multiple influences enter his or her life. YMCA After School ensures that the time after school is occupied creatively and constructively.

In addition to our traditional day camps, Camp on the Lake and Broken Arrow, the YMCA offers two year-round camps, Camp Grady Spruce (resident and family retreat camp) and Collin County Adventure Camp.

Health and Wellness
The YMCA health and wellness programs help people at any stage of life build positive health habits. Participation in YMCA programs offers youth and adults opportunities to develop friendship and community and a sense of well-being.

Afterschool and summer camp activities offer a safe place for kids to experience the Y mission at an affordable cost in their own community.

Special Needs
Sports, yoga, and parties for youth and young adults with special needs.

Sports and fitness activities have always been at the core of YMCA programming. YMCA sports teach values and character building that can become the very foundation of a person's life. PDF link
