WHITE ROCK YMCA ADVENTURE GUIDES
YMCA Adventure Guides is an opportunity for a father (or male role model) and a child to go on a journey of discovery, make memories, and form bonds that will last a lifetime.
There are two ways to join Adventure Guides: The easiest is to start a Circle of your own, made up of classmates, YMCA Sports teammates, or neighborhood friends the same age. The second (slightly more difficult) way is to find an existing group and ask permission to join their Circle.
Circles are generally made up of 8-14 pairs of kids and fathers (though larger and smaller groups are permitted) and work best with kids at the same school or in the same neighborhood. If you are interested in forming a Circle, send an email to Jeff - email@example.com. If you would like to become a navigator, click the button below:
There are two fees associated with the Adventure Guides, first the Annual Registration fee, which covers the supplies, insurance, and other overhead costs of program. This year, Kindergarten registration fees also include the cost of a vest, which can be decorated with patches earned throughout the year. Additionally, there are fees for each of the events and campouts.
We also offer Financial Assistance available through the Annual Campaign.
