SUMMER AT THE Y
Summer at the Y is a special time! Children experience new adventures, learn to swim, make new friends, and shape memories that last a lifetime. Join us for summer camps, swim lessons, and sports and make this summer one to remember.
READY. SET. SUMMER!
Our YMCA Day Camps serve ages 3-12 years at a variety of locations throughout the Dallas area. Participants enjoy supervised activities that teach core values, conflict resolution, and leadership skills. With both indoor and outdoor day camp options, there is a Day Camp for everyone!
There is no place more fun for a 6-16 year old camper to be! Located on Possum Kingdom Lake, Camp Grady Spruce allows campers to unplug from technology while embarking on outdoor adventures. Participants will try their hand at wake boarding, sailing, and more!
With Day Camp and overnight camp options, Collin County Adventure Camp is the perfect place for children ages 5-13 to spend time this summer! All campers participate in adventure activities such as archery, canoeing, climbing wall, ziplining, and more.
Camp on the Lake is a premier waterfront day camp environment created just for kids ages 6-13. Located on Lake Lewisville, campers enjoy activities such as archery, water activities, crafts, and more all close to home!
Angel Camp (located at the JER Chilton YMCA at Rockwall) creates an environment that allows children to explore and create with the support that their needs required. Campers with differing physical and intellectual handicaps enjoy traditional day camp activities like archery, crafts, swimming, field trips, and more!
Teenagers, regardless of background, face choices that can positively or negatively influence their lives. The Y helps teens and their families to reach new heights and is committed to programs that offer character development, citizenship, leadership and service.
Students learn and build upon skills, they celebrate successes, build self-confidence, and enjoy learning to swim and water safety.
Sign-up for spring Soccer, Flag Football, Volleyball, Baseball, and Basketball has begun! Summer leagues are right around the corner. Read here for dates, locations, and to register.
A Note About Health and Safety
Throughout the pandemic, the Y has served families through programs that allow children to have the social interaction they need to thrive, while enforcing safety protocols, including regular deep sanitation of our program sites, mask enforcement, and physical distancing protocols to help keep COVID-19 at bay. Our work in this area will continue throughout the summer to help keep our families and staff healthy and safe.
