STATE ASSEMBLY HEALTH & SAFETY UPDATE

The health of our delegates, volunteers, staff and community are not only a top priority, it’s part of our mission.

As the Coronavirus concern continues to grow as a public health issue, we realize our Model UN State Assembly is rapidly approaching. We are closely monitoring and assessing the situation based on information from the World Health Organization (WHO), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as local and state health officials. We will update you should a decision be made to postpone or cancel the conference. In situations such as these, we prefer to go directly to the experts on health and disease prevention. Here are several helpful links to information about the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Health & Safety Update

THIS IS NO ORDINARY MUN

This three day, two night immersive conference hosted by the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas is not only a UN simulation, it's about real life community.  It's not just about learning about a nation, it's about learning about what you are capable of.  It's not just about a resume builder, it's a character builder.

State Model UN Assembly:

Date:  TBD
Virtual Event

This annual conference invites delegates from Texas Model UN Clubs across the state to engage in stimulating debate, competition, and collaboration in an attempt to resolve real-world issues that face the nations of the UN today. Led by the officer body of the Secretariat, this conference provides a deeper meaning of diplomacy alongside a positive values-based culture to make new friends and be inspired to make local change from a global lens. Awards are given based on our rubric.
