JOHN FISTOLERA

John Fistolera is and experienced non-profit executive with over 15-years of proven fundraising, management, communications and advocacy experience on a national platform. His record of accomplishment includes: restructuring fundraising operations to achieve a 90% increase in giving, creating board best practices that elevated engagement and aligned with strategic and fundraising goals and leading communications and advocacy to campaigns that earned over $20 million in media exposure.

John moved to Dallas to lead HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America)-Future Health Professionals' (HOSA) work to establish its first, formal fundraising program. In just one year, He led the design, adoption and implementation of a diversified fundraising plan that generated over $5 million in qualified revenue and in-kind support. Prior to contracting with HOSA, John was the Vice President of Development and External Affairs for the Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA) and worked in local, state and federal government and public affairs for a decade.

In addition to his volunteer work on behalf of the Turkey Trot, John has served on the Board of Directors for InterLink North Texas and been invited to service on the Board of the T. Boone Pickens YMCA and Green Careers Dallas. He is enrolled UNT Dallas' Maters in Public Leadership Program and hold a BA in Integral Liberal Arts from St. Mary's College of CA.
