Overnight, day or specialty camps at the Y share one thing: they’re about discovery. Kids have the opportunity to explore nature, find new talents, try new activities, gain independence, and make lasting friendships and memories. And, of course, it’s fun too. At the Y, there's a camp for everyone. See the many Y camps available to you below.
Traditional Day Camps
YMCA Day Camps foster children's emotional, social, physical and creative growth through a range of interactive activities and relationships with role model counselors. Camps provide a variety of activities -from educational outdoor experiences to arts and crafts, science, group games, field trips, and even an option to learn how to swim.
Camp Grady Spruce, Camp on the Lake, and Collin County Adventure Camp, offer day camps with activities like, horse riding, archery, riflery and a wide range of water sports in a wilderness environment. See the videos and links on the right for more details on these great camps.
Camps for Teens
Today's world is a challenging place for teenagers. Teen camp provides a safe place where high school kids can cultivate their interests, develop leadership skills and nurture their passions.
Arts, Music & Science Camps
The Y offers camps that focus on particular programming like teen adventure, music, sports specialties and farm/ranch experiences and for campers with special needs.
Overnight / Sleep-away Camps
We offer overnight/sleep away camps that run from a few days to a few weeks in scenic outdoor areas that span the North Texas area. Camp programs offer a wide variety of outdoor adventures led by trained and experienced leaders who guide children and teenagers in having an unforgettable experience.
Family Camps
Spend time together exploring the outdoors and embarking on exciting new adventures as a family. While Family Camps are certainly fun, they are also designed to strengthen your relationship with nature, God and each other.
Special Needs Camps
At the Y we strive to provide programs for children with disabilities. Our Special Needs Summer Camp gives kids with special needs an opportunity to experience camp in a safe and nurturing environment.
