LEARN HOW TO SWIM
Swimming not only saves lives, it builds self-confidence and develops the whole person – spirit, mind and body. We offer a wide range of swimming options for the whole family. Classes are divided into ability groups and trained instructors emphasize personal safety, swimming skills, endurance and social skills while guiding students with praise and encouragement.
Kids Group Swimming Lessons
(6 months & up)
The Y offers group swim lessons for kids as young as 6 months old and up. Teaches safety around the water, drowning prevention strategies, and enhances the progressions of swimming ability.

Adult Swim Lessons
(14 & up)
Teaches the basic fundamentals of floatation and introduces swimming. Helps overcome the uneasiness sometimes felt by adults learning to swim. Emphasizes front crawl and elementary backstroke.

Private Swim Lessons
(3 & up)
Private lessons are 30 minutes in length. Private lessons are taught one-on-one with the instructor.
Semi-Private Swim Lessons
(3 & up)
Semi-private lessons are for groups of no more than three children and one instructor. Aquatics Department does not group together semi-private lessons.
