Cheerleading

The JER Chilton Family YMCA at Rockwall Cheerleading program is offered in the fall and spring.  It offers girls or boys the chance to get active and have some fun cheering on our teams. Cheerleaders will build self-confidence and self-esteem while developing social skills and healthy relationships with other boys and girls.  Cheerleaders are guaranteed 100% cheering time for each game, regardless of skill, practice attendance, etc. 

Learn the fundamentals of cheerleading including basic motions, jumps, cheers and chants.

Participants should register based on the calendar grade of Fall 2023 to end of Summer 2024 school year.

Required: All participants must purchase a uniform (not included in the registration fee): Game Day Outfit, Pompoms, Bag, Shoes, Bow, Bloomers, Practice Shirt & Shorts

Games are located at Williams Middle School, Kyle Field and/or JER Chilton YMCA

Practice location is at JER Chilton YMCA

Friend/Coach requests are accepted on registration forms but are not guaranteed.  YMCA reserves the right to add  any player(s) to a roster if necessary.  

Coaches: Are volunteers that must register for a Criminal Background Check with Athlete Protection training. If you are interested in coaching please indicate so on your registration form and click on the link of Volunteer Coach on the left sidebar.
