YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL 

The J.E.R. Chilton YMCA at Rockwall's youth flag football program helps kids become not only better football players, but better people as well. Youth flag football is a progressive program, with multiple age-specific levels. Every child gets to play and the games are safe, exciting and fun. We encourage fair play, positive competition, and family involvement.

Everyone plays at the YMCA! Children are guaranteed 25% playing time in each game, regardless of skill, practice attendance, etc. Unlike most youth football leagues the Y has no tryouts so all kids can experience football in a fun, friendly, level playing field that allows all players to have fun. Youth football is for K-6th grades (ages 5-13).  

Practices

The season begins on 9/7/2019 and the practices will start the week prior to the season. Practices will be chosen by the coach regarding day, time and location at the coaches meeting. Practices are held once per week Monday – Friday (Times and Locations are selected by coaches).

Games

Games will be primarily played on Saturdays through the 9-game season.

Equipment

Mouthpieces and molded one-piece cleats or tennis shoes are required and shorts are recommended.

Uniforms

Each player will be required to purchase YMCA approved jersey. (Check w/coach)

Registration

EXTENDED - No late fee if you register in-branch or online by Sunday, August 18th.

YMCA Family Members Fee: $99

Activity Member Fee: $139
