Everyone cheers at the Moody YMCA!

Children grades 2nd-4th are guaranteed 100% cheering time for each game, regardless of skill, practice attendance, etc. 

Cheerleading allows girls and boys to get active and have fun cheering on our teams. Cheerleaders will build self-confidence and self-esteem while developing social skills and healthy relationships with other boys and girls.

Learn the fundamentals of cheerleading including basic motions, jumps, cheers and chants.

Cheerleading League Information: 

Registration deadline: Wednesday September 6th, 2023

Game Days: 2nd - 4th Grade: Fridays

Games will begin the week of September 11th. (Times and park locations to be determined.)

Season Fee: Member rate: $140

                   Non-member rate: $190

Practices: will be on Tuesday evenings from 3:30-4:30pm and will either be in the Moody YMCA gymnasium or on the outdoor field. Bring Water!

Uniform: Not included in season registration. To be purchased directly through vendor.

Cheer Parent Meeting: September 5th from noon to 1pm in the Executive Suite conference room upstairs at the Moody Family YMCA

Cheerleading Training Camp

Date: September 9th from 9:30am - 11:30am 

Located at the Moody Family YMCA gym. [All Kindergarten and 1st graders who have siblings registered in Moody YMCA football program are invited to attend the training camp to learn cheers/chants and will be allowed to cheer on the sidelines.]
