Field Layout:
Flag Football/7v7
Moody YMCA flag football/7v7 program is offered in the fall and Spring seasons. Teams are geared toward kids who want to play football, brush up on football rules, tactics, and most importantly - Have fun!
Unlike most youth football leagues the Y has no tryouts so all kids can experience football in a fun and friendly matter. Football players should anticipate a challenging program that focuses on fundamentals and good sportsmanship.
Participants should register based on the calendar grade of Fall 2023 to end of Summer 2024 school year.
ALL SPRING 2024 TEAMS WILL RETURN FROM THE FALL 2023 SEASON. NEW PLAYERS WILL BE PLACED AS ROSTER SIZE ALLOWS. The YMCA reserves the right to add to any player(s) to a roster if necessary.
Particiants will be contacted by your coach after the coaches' meeting with practice and game schedules.

Game locations are played at Moody Family YMCA, HPISD schools, local parks and/or other nearby YMCA branches.

Team formation: Coaches may bring a pre-formed roster of 6 players. The Y may/will add 2-3 additional players.
Friend, coach and practice request are not accepted at the time of registration and are not guaranteed. The YMCA reserves the right to add to any player(s) to a roster if necessary.
Coaches: Are volunteers that must register for a Criminal Background Check with Athlete Protection training. If you are interested in coaching please indicate so on your registration form and click on the link of Volunteer Coach on the left sidebar.
