Our Soccer Program helps kids become not only better soccer players, but better people as well. Every child gets to play and the games are safe, exciting and fun. We encourage fair play, positive competition, and family involvement.
Unlike most club soccer leagues the Y has no tryouts so all kids can experience soccer in a fun friendly level playing field that allows all player to have fun. Soccer is a Spring and Fall sport and has more than 6000 players each year.
Participants should register based on the calendar grade of Fall 2024 to end of Summer 2025 school year.

Required: all participants must wear shin guards.
Divisions and Ball size:
Games and Practices: Richardson YMCA, FUMCR, Lookout, Berkner, Heights, Woodlands and other local city parks.
Uniforms: Are not included. Volunteer coach can order through LockerRoom Sports Wear or Dallas East Sports.
Dallas YMCA Soccer Shootout: Optional tournament for all 1st-8th grade teams.
Friend/Coach request accepted on registration form but are not guaranteed. YMCA reserves the right to add any player(s) to a roster if necessary.
Coaches: Are volunteers that must register for a Criminal Background Check with Athlete Protection training. If you are interested in coaching please indicate so on your registration form and click one the link of Volunteer Coach on the left sidebar.
Participation medal: Participation medals are given to pk and kinder divisions. 1st/2nd place division awards for1st-8th grade division.
Individual and team sign-ups welcome!
This program offers a 45 minute classes for boys and girls ages 3 & 4. The program is designed to teach basic rules, techniques and safety practices of the sport. Each player will receive a small fry t-shirt, soccer ball and participation medal!

Our soccer skills sessions introduce the concepts of sound technical skills coupled with team tactical execution. Players deploy their newly learned techniques in small sided games during each 45 minute session.
