The Waxahachie Family YMCA youth soccer is offered in the fall and spring seasons. YMCA youth soccer promises no try outs, no getting cut and no bench warmers!  The YMCA kids soccer program helps kids become not only better players, but better people as well. It's a progressive program, with multiple age-specific levels. Every child gets to play and the games are safe, exciting and fun. We encourage fair play, positive competition, and family involvement.

Focus of this league is participation and fun! Basic skills of the game are developed through games and activities. Sportsmanship and values are key components of this league.

Participants should register based on the calendar grade of Fall 2024 to end of Summer 2025 school year.

Required: all participants must wear shin guards.

Divisions are done by grades and may be combined with another appropriate grade level or cancelled if enrollment is low.

Game locations are at Waxahachie Sports Complex on Fields 8, 9, 10 and 11.

Practice locations are determined by the volunteer coach.  There are no practices allowed at the Waxahachie Sports Complex. 

Friend/Coach requests are accepted on registration forms but are not guaranteed.  YMCA reserves the right to add  any player(s) to a roster if necessary.  

Coaches: Are volunteers that must register for a Criminal Background Check with Athlete Protection training. If you are interested in coaching please indicate so on your registration form and click on the link of Volunteer Coach on the left sidebar.

Refund Policy

Any refund requests will be reviewed by the Sports Department.  The refund amount given back will be determined by the date the refund is WRITTEN requested:

      • Before registration closes – refund less $25 service fee.
      • After registration closes but before sport start date– refund less $25 service fee.
      • On or after sport start date – no refund.

All registration, online and in person, are held to this policy.
