So, what's at stake? The 1st place winner will win a one-year family membership at the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas. 2nd place winner will win a six-month family membership at the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas, and 3rd place winner will win a three-month family membership at the YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas.
We'll also have a dog contest! Dress your furry friends to shine with you!
But the competition won't be easy. With so many creative minds in one place, you'll need to bring your A-game to stand out. Will you be the one to outdo last year's winner, who dressed up as a turkey riding a bike?
To enter, simply select the contest option when you register for the race. Our judges will be on the lookout for participants who go above and beyond in their creativity and execution. Don't forget to bring your running shoes, though – the costume contest is just the beginning of the Turkey Trot Dallas experience.

Dallas Turkey Trot Team Challenge
The Turkey Trot Dallas has announced the launch of its highly anticipated team challenge for this year's event. The Turkey Trot Team Challenge is a unique opportunity for runners in the 5K to come together and compete as a team, with the aim of winning the prestigious title of fastest team in Dallas. The challenge requires each team to have a minimum of three members, and the team with the lowest combined average time will be crowned the winner. The Turkey Trot Dallas team challenge is an exciting way to unite people, promote fitness, and encourage healthy competition. The event promises to be a fun-filled day for participants and spectators alike, and it will surely become a highlight of the Dallas Thanksgiving calendar. Register for the challenge when you register for the race. Registrants MUST be timed runners to participate in the Team Challenge.
