MOORLAND FAMILY YMCA AT OAK CLIFF's Soccer Program helps kids become not only better soccer players, but better people as well. Youth soccer is a progressive program, with multiple age-specific levels. Every child gets to play and the games are safe, exciting and fun. We encourage fair play, positive competition, and family involvement.  

Unlike most club soccer leagues the Y has no tryouts so all kids can experience soccer in a fun friendly level playing field that allows all player to have fun.

Participants should register based on the calendar grade of Fall 2024 to end of Summer 2025 school year.

Youth Soccer League

Please note: Players will be placed in a division based on their grade level. Players may play in a older grade level, but cannot play in a younger grade level. Take this into consideration when registering multiple children in different grade levels.

• Example: A player in the 6th grade is allowed to play in the 7th/8th grade division. A player in the 3rd grade cannot play in the 1st/2nd grade division.

Required:  YMCA jerseys required. All participants must wear shin guards.  Cleats are optional.  Players should wear black socks and black shorts and bring a soccer ball.

Ball size:

• PRK/K/1st: 3
• 2nd to 6th: 4
• 7th+: 5

Medals: are provided for PreK and Kinder grades only.

Game locations:

• Moorland YMCA at Oak Cliff YMCA
• Grand Prairie YMCA
• or local offsites 

Practice locations: Moorland YMCA at Oak Cliff or local offsites 

Friend/Coach requests are accepted on registration forms but are not guaranteed.  YMCA reserves the right to add  any player(s) to a roster if necessary.  

Coaches: Are volunteers that must register for a Criminal Background Check with Athlete Protection training. If you are interested in coaching please indicate so on your registration form and click on the link of Volunteer Coach on the left sidebar.

 Small Fry Soccer Pre-School Clinic

This program offers a 45 minute classes for boys and girls ages 3 & 4. The program is designed to teach basic rules, techniques and safety practices of the sport. Each player will receive a small fry t-shirt, soccer ball and participation trophy!

Registration is limited to players per session and will remain open until the first session or until full, whichever occurs first.

Refund Policies

All Refund Requests must be made in writing at the branch. Submission of the Refund Request Form does not guarantee a refund of any amount. All forms are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by the YMCA Sports Director and Executive Director.

The refund amount given back will be determined by the date the refund is requested

Limited exceptions for emergencies only.
Refunds/makeups/transfers are NOT available for individually missed games/practices.

After First Game = No refund

21 days from Season start date = $30 include processing and jersey fee

22-30+ days from Season start date = 100% refund 

*All ONLINE registrations are held to this policy

NOTE:  Games cancelled due to weather conditions will be rescheduled (Max 2 games only)

Insufficient Funds

All returned checks, bank drafts, credit card charges will be billed a service fee of $25.

Late Registration Fee

Late registrations will be assessed an additional $25 fee.
