MOORLAND FAMILY YMCA AT OAK CLIFF's Soccer Program helps kids become not only better soccer players, but better people as well. Youth soccer is a progressive program, with multiple age-specific levels. Every child gets to play and the games are safe, exciting and fun. We encourage fair play, positive competition, and family involvement.  

Unlike most club soccer leagues the Y has no tryouts so all kids can experience soccer in a fun friendly level playing field that allows all player to have fun.

Participants should register based on the calendar grade of Fall 2022 to end of Summer 2023 school year.

One practice per week decided by volunteer coach

Required: all participants must wear shin guards.  Cleats are optional.  Players should wear black socks and black shorts and bring a soccer ball.

Medals: are provided for PreK and Kinder grades only.

Ball Size: 3 for PK3 to 1st grade; Size 4 for 2nd to 6th, size 5 for 7th and up

Game locations: are at Moorland at Oak Cliff Family YMCA, or other off site locations.

Practice locations: are at the YMCA or local offsite venues. 

Friend and Coach Request: accepted on registration form but are not guaranteed.  YMCA reserves the right to add any player(s) to a roster if necessary.

Coaches: Coaches: Are volunteers and require a Criminal Background Check registration. If interested in coaching, please indicate so on your registration form.

Refund Policies

All Refund Requests must be made in writing at the branch. Submission of the Refund Request Form does not guarantee a refund of any amount. All forms are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by the YMCA Sports Director and Executive Director.

The refund amount given back will be determined by the date the refund is requested

Limited exceptions for emergencies only.
Refunds/makeups/transfers are NOT available for individually missed games/practices.

After First Game = No refund

21 days from Season start date = $30 include processing and jersey fee

22-30+ days from Season start date = 100% refund 

*All ONLINE registrations are held to this policy

NOTE:  Games cancelled due to weather conditions will be rescheduled (Max 2 games only)

Insufficient Funds

All returned checks, bank drafts, credit card charges will be billed a service fee of $25.

Late Registration Fee

Late registrations will be assessed an additional $25 fee.
