The White Rock YMCA Youth soccer is offered in the fall and spring seasons and is played with Lake Highlands YMCA. It is a progressive program, with multiple age-specific levels. Every child gets to play games in a safe, exciting and fun atmosphere. We encourage fair play, positive competition, and family involvement.
Program goals: Players will have fun while developing an appreciation for soccer and physical activity. They will practice basic to advanced skills and drills, while learning sportsmanship and teamwork.
Fall participants should register based on the calendar grade of Fall 2024 to end of Summer 2025 school year.
Participants 2 years and 6months - 2 years and 11 months will need to register in person.

Locations of Games:
Practices are located near White Rock YMCA/Lake Highlands YMCA and neighborhood Dallas Parks and schools as scheduled per head coach's choice. For those who registered for Lake Highlands, practices are closer to Lake Highlands neighborhood but not guaranteed.
Friend/Coach requests are accepted on registration forms but are not guaranteed. YMCA reserves the right to add any player(s) to a roster if necessary.
Coaches: Are volunteers that must register for a Criminal Background Check with Athlete Protection training. If you are interested in coaching please indicate so on your registration form and click on the link of Volunteer Coach on the left sidebar.

Common FAQ's
Divisions
PK3/4/5 is co-ed.
Kindergarten to 6th grade is separated into boys and girls divisions.
If grade divisions do not have enough players per grade, we will combine grades to make divisions (i.e., 3rd/4th-grade team)
Member/Nonmember Rate
If you are a member of the White Rock YMCA, you get a discounted rate for participating in youth sports programs offered by the branch. However, to qualify for the membership rate, you must maintain your family membership through half of the season (April 15th for the spring season/Oct 15th for fall season). If you cancel your membership before halfway through the season, you are required to pay the difference between the member and nonmember rate.
Refund Policies
All Refund Requests must be made in writing at the branch. Submission of the Refund Request Form does not guarantee a refund of any amount. All forms are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by the YMCA Sports Director and Executive Director.

Insufficient Funds
All returned checks, bank drafts, credit card charges will be billed a service fee of $25.
Late Registration Fee
Late registrations will be assessed an additional $25 fee and may not be placed on a team. (we try our best!)

Our Pre-K Clinic is designed for any Pre-K player ages 3-5. This clinic helps children who may not be ready for full-time team play with a fun, 45-minute skills-based class. Clinics will introduce soccer skills in a stress-free environment for players and parents.

Refunds: Issued only if you come to the front desk at White Rock YMCA to fill out the required Refund form. No refunds are given after the first day of camp.
