Dear YMCA Friends,

It is with great sadness that we must temporarily close our YMCA of Metropolitan Dallas facility branches until at least March 31st. For additional information from our CEO please click here.

These are extraordinary times that call for extraordinary measures. Continue to watch this website for updates. Thank you for understanding and please be safe, and careful. Take care of each other as we will get through this together.

YMCA Youth Sports

Skills, Confidence, and Character
The YMCA Sports program develops young athletes by giving them a foundation for a lifetime. Whether it’s improving their skills and coordination or building the positive relationships that lead to good sportsmanship and teamwork, participating in sports at the Y is about developing the whole child, from the inside out.

Walker Hawk and other Royse City local sports facilities will continue to be utilized as a part of this partnership.

Parent Contact:  Our goal is to have rosters completed at our coaches meetings, which is 2 weeks before the start of the season. However, due to late registrations and making time for roster adjustments, we will have rosters finalized one week prior to the start of the season and before practices start. Coaches typically reach out to parents as soon as they receive their rosters. The main way coaches communicate is via email through our sports platform PLAYERSPACE.

T-Ball (Co-Ed)

Our youth tee-ball programs are co-ed and progressive with multiple age levels. We make sure that every child gets to play and that games are safe, fair and most of all fun!  Players refine their skills in the game basics, including throwing, catching, hitting and game strategy.
