FITNESS PHILOSOPHY
“My philosophy is really about functional movement and implementing fun and knowledgeable concepts of exercise.  These concepts and ideas will hopefully rollover and impact your everyday life positively.  Be open to new ideas!  Don’t be afraid to try and fail!  Knowing what not to do is just as important as learning what to do.”

Poll Smith Kamto (Smith)

Semones YMCA Personal Training

Smith has been a personal trainer for 4 years and a wellness coach for 4 years.

Exercise and a healthy lifestyle are both a journey - not a race.  You should treat both of them like you would treat your own life, because your wellbeing depends entirely on your health.  Discipline, a healthy mind set, desire to achieve goals, and stamina are important. I’ve chosen a profession in the fitness industry, because I like to serve; seeing any healthy human beings makes me happy and brings joy in my life.

FITNESS PHILOSOPHY
Whether this is your first foray into resistance training, or you have training time under your belt but cannot seem to push through plateau I can help. Free weights may be intimidating for some at first but that is where you build functional strength that carries over into activities of daily living, sports, etc. I emphasize ideal movement patterns under load, internal creation of tension (neural densification) to increase power output, improving mobility, if applicable, all the while addressing any questions you may have.
