CROSS TIMBERS FAMILY YMCA
The YMCA Swim Lesson Curriculum is a core group of aquatic skills every person needs to be safe around water. As the foundation of our program, these skills allow students to learn correct swim stroke techniques. Students begin with and build upon skills they are ready to learn, helping them to celebrate their successes, build self-confidence, and enjoy learning to swim and water safety.

Make Up Policy:
No individual make-ups are allowed because of illness, travel, vacations, etc. If a lesson is cancelled due to pool problems/bad weather, the YMCA will hold a make-up class on Fridays.
Other Class Policies:
While the YMCA will go to great lengths to hold 8 lessons per session, a session will be considered complete if seven classes are held. A class is considered held after 20 minutes of instruction. If a class does not make, the YMCA holds the right to combine classes with other age and skill appropriate classes. No parents or spectators will be allowed on the pool deck—they must remain in designated spectator areas.
