YOUTH SOCCER

Cross Timber's Soccer Program is offered in the fall and spring seasons.  It helps kids become not only better soccer players, but better people as well. Youth soccer is a progressive program, with multiple age-specific levels. Every child gets to play and the games are safe, exciting and fun. We encourage fair play, positive competition, and family involvement.

Unlike most club soccer leagues the Y has no tryouts so all kids can experience soccer in a fun friendly level playing field that allows all player to have fun. 

Summer participants should register based on the calendar grade of Fall 2024 to end of Summer 2025 school year.

Required: all participants must wear shin guards.

Game locations are at Cross Timbers YMCA

Practice locations are at at local parks, churches and schools.

Ball Size 3 for PK3 to 1st grade; Size 4 for 2nd to 6th, size 5 for 7th and up

Friend/Coach requests are accepted on registration forms but are not guaranteed.  YMCA reserves the right to add  any player(s) to a roster if necessary.  

Coaches: Are volunteers that must register for a Criminal Background Check with Athlete Protection training. If you are interested in coaching please indicate so on your registration form and click on the link of Volunteer Coach on the left sidebar.

LISD Soccer 

We have partnered with LISD to offer discounted rates for certain Central ISD schools. If your child attends one of the following schools, you qualify for the rate. The eligible schools are Central, Creekside, Degan, Lakeland, Lewisville, Mill Street, Rockbrook, Southridge, Valley Ridge, Vickery, and Parkway.

Soccer PRK Clinic 

Our PRK Clinic is designed for any Pre-K player ages 3-4. This clinic helps children who may not be ready for full-time team league play with a fun, 1 hour skills-based class on Saturdays. Clinics will introduce soccer skills in a stress-free environment for players and parents.

Summer Soccer Camp

Our Soccer Camp is designed for any player ages 3-14. Through a blend of structured training sessions, interactive drills, and engaging activities, participants have the opportunity to enhance their soccer abilities while having fun on the field.
