Our Soccer Program helps kids become not only better soccer players, but better people as well. Every child gets to play and the games are safe, exciting and fun. We encourage fair play, positive competition, and family involvement.
We will continue to register teams and players according to their current school grade.
Separate boys and girls divisions, co-ed teams are available upon request
Ages: 3 - 16
Season: Begins March 4th. 8 game season in each division, optional free tournament for all 1st-middle school teams.
Games and Practices: Richardson YMCA, FUMCR, Lookout, Heights and Woodlands Parks.
COST: Cost: $49 for Y members | $79 for non-members
Summer High School/College Soccer: Cost: $5 for Y members l $10 for non-members

Our soccer skills sessions introduce the concepts of sound technical skills coupled with team tactical execution. Skills such as controlling, passing, heading, dribbling and defending are taught. The ability to move to open spaces and working together towards a common goal are emphasized in this team sport. A balance between individual play and team play are stressed. The player is encouraged to experiment and deploy their newly learned techniques in small sided games during each session.
Cost: Free to Richardson YMCA Spring 2017 registered soccer players.

Grades and Times: Kinder - 2nd, 6 - 6:45pm 3rd - 9th, 7 - 7:45pm
There is no cost to participate however everyone must register on-line so the coaches can prepare accordingly. Registration is weekly, you must choose a date to attend.
All Refund Requests must be made in writing at the branch. Submission of the Refund Request Form does not guarantee a refund of any amount. All forms are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by the YMCA Sports Director and Executive Director.

All returned checks, bank drafts, credit card charges will be billed a service fee of $25.
Late Registration Fee
Late registrations will be assessed an additional $20 fee and may not be placed on a team. (we try our best!) Late fee's are not refundable.
