Our Soccer Program helps kids become not only better soccer players, but better people as well. Every child gets to play and the games are safe, exciting and fun. We encourage fair play, positive competition, and family involvement.
Unlike most club soccer leagues the Y has no tryouts so all kids can experience soccer in a fun friendly level playing field that allows all player to have fun. Soccer is a Spring and Fall sport.
Separate boys and girls divisions, co-ed teams are available upon request. Registration is by grade.
Ages/Grades: 4-16. PREK-9th Grade
Registration: December 15th - February 10th, 2018 Late registration beginning February 11th.
Season: Begins March 3rd. 8 game season in each division, optional free tournament for all 1st-middle school teams.
Games: Saturdays and/or Thursdays.
Game and Practice Locations: Richardson YMCA, FUMCR, Lookout, Berkner, Heights and Woodlands Parks.
Cost: $55 for Y members | $80 for non-members.

Soccer Skills / Goalkeeper Clinics
Instructed by Krys Sobieski
Our soccer skills sessions introduce the concepts of sound technical skills coupled with team tactical execution. Players deploy their newly learned techniques in small sided games during each session.
Soccer Skills Cost: Free to Richardson YMCA Spring 2018 registered soccer players.
Dates: Tuesdays, February 20th-April 24th.
Location: Richardson YMCA Soccer Field #9
Grades and Times: Kinder - 2nd, 6 - 6:45pm 3rd - 9th, 7 - 7:45pm
Registration is weekly, you must choose a date to attend.
45 minute classes for boys and girls ages 3 & 4. The program is designed to teach the basics of rules, techniques and safety practices of the sport. Each player will receive a small fry t-shirt, soccer ball and participation trophy!
All Refund Requests must be made in writing at the branch. Submission of the Refund Request Form does not guarantee a refund of any amount. All forms are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by the YMCA Sports Director and Executive Director.

All returned checks, bank drafts, credit card charges will be billed a service fee of $25.
Late Registration Fee
Late registrations will be assessed an additional $20 fee and may not be placed on a team. (we try our best!) Late fee's are not refundable.
