The Moody YMCA is a non-profit organization which conducts an Annual Campaign each year to acquire the funds necessary to support its programs.

If you donate to the Moody Annual Campaign, where will your money go?

  • Annual Campaign dollars go to support 60 students at the Ashford Rise School, some at 100% scholarship.  The Moody YMCA is unique in that we house The Ashford Rise School of Dallas which provides the highest quality of early childhood education services to children with Down Syndrome and other developmental disabilities as well as to children without disabilities.  This specialized instruction is implemented in an inclusive classroom setting by master level teachers and on-staff speech, occupational, physical, and music therapists.
  • Annual Campaign dollars go to support our Membership.  Full and partial scholarships are given annually to youth, family, senior and special needs members so that we can bring the YMCA and all of our services to our entire community regardless of their ability to afford it.
  • Annual Campaign dollars go to support our Outreach programs. These programs include Adventure Guides & Princesses, Youth and Government and our Safety Around Water Program.  We taught free swim lessons to over 600 kids in 2018 in surrounding apartment complexes.
  • 1/16th Annual Campaign dollars go to support our Active Older Adults.  This program is designed to offer age-appropriate exercise classes, field trips, informal lectures and educational sessions to help our older active adults to be the best they can be!

Your donated dollars will last a lifetime by making a difference in the lives of youth and families in our community and in turn make our community stronger and healthier.  Thank you in advance for your time and consideration to give. Please contact Stacy Wells, for more information on our Annual Campaign.
