Many of our health care problems are the result of acute and chronic conditions related to poor nutrition like heart disease, cancer, diabetes, and obesity. Nutrition coaching can provide structure and accountability to help not only reach our weight loss goals but also help you feel better. Our nutrition counseling is tailored to meet the needs of your personal goal.
HOW IT WORKS
Nutrition coaching is an ongoing process in which a certified nutritionist works with an individual to assess his or her usual dietary intake and identify areas where change is needed. The nutrition coach provides information, educational materials, support, and follow-up care to help the individual make and maintain the needed dietary changes. The process begins with an interview that provides the basis for identifying behaviors that need to be changed. Sometimes a person already has a good idea of what dietary changes are needed but may require help making the changes. Other times the coach can help educate a person on the health effects of different dietary choices. The coach and client work together to identify areas where change is needed, prioritize changes, and problem solve as to how to make the changes. Making dietary changes is a gradual process. Each individual's situation and background must be carefully considered. Once the needed changes have been identified, it is important to identify potential barriers to change, set realistic goals, find support and determine the follow-up needed to maintain changes or set new goals.
We offer 4 packages to help you with a small or large one. Our nutritional coaching sessions are 30 minutes and can be done in person or virtually. We are here to help you live healthily.
