Baseball & Softball
T-Ball, Baseball and Girls Softball Teams
The focus in our leagues is to have fun, meet new friends and play in a non-competitive environment. Y Baseball is designed to teach young baseball players the fundamentals of the game. Players will learn how to catch, throw, and bat in a fun team atmosphere.
Girls Softball: Instructional league meant to teach the game and skills to new and existing players. This program is not meant for the very experienced player. Free skills sessions throughout the season instructed by UTD players. Fee includes jersey.
Registration Dates: February 1st - April 29th 2017.
Games – Starting May 20th, season consists of 8 games.
Games are played on Saturday morning and/or Thursday evening. No games Memorial Day or 4th of July weekends.
Practices – Baseball practices are on the Richardson YMCA's baseball fields or local parks. One weeknight practice per week scheduled by the volunteer head coach.
Equipment - All equipment is provided with the exception of player mitts.

Softball: $45 (YMCA Member) $79 (Non-Member) Includes Jersey
45- minute classes for boys and girls ages 3 & 4. The program is designed to teach the basics of rules, techniques and safety practices of the sport. Your child will develop self-confidence and social skills through constant encouragement from coaches, parents, and other children.
Small Fry is a program that requires parental involvement during each scheduled class. Parents participate in classes by coaching, guiding and assisting their children in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to enhance their progress. Parents will not receive a call from a "coach" before the 1st session. Your player will meet the coach at the 1st session.
Each player will receive a small fry t-shirt and participation trophy. There are never any late fees for Small Fry Sports. More information

Registration is open until the start of the first session or until sessions are full, whichever occurs first.
Terms & Conditions
All Refund Requests must be made in writing at the branch. Submission of the Refund Request Form does not guarantee a refund of any amount. All forms are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and must be approved by the YMCA Sports Director and Executive Director.

Late Registration Fee
Late registrations will be assessed an additional $20 fee. There are no refunds on late fee's
