With the continued COVID-19 pandemic, many parents don’t feel comfortable this year allowing their children to trick-or-treat door-to-door. The YMCA is offering free community events at select branches to provide parents a safe option to let their kids participate in Halloween fun. The events will take place between Thursday, October 29 and Saturday, October 31 at branches including the Park South YMCA, Moorland Family YMCA at Oak Cliff, Semones Family YMCA (North Dallas) and Waxahachie YMCA.

Trunk or Treat at the Semones Family YMCA on Thursday, October 29 from 5:30pm-7:00pm.

Decorated cars will join us in the parking lot across the street for a night of safe, outdoor trick or treating fun! Bring a guest to share in this free, family-friendly community event. A reminder that masks will be required for attendance. The more cars, the better - and there will be a contest for most creative trunk theme! More information about the Semones event can be found here or on the Semones Family YMCA Facebook page
