The month of May is, a time to focus on improving cardiovascular health, as well as on hypertension and stroke prevention. While high blood pressure and heart disease are serious conditions, the good news is a healthy heart is achievable through lifestyle changes such as lowering sodium intake, eating healthier, and getting more physical activity.

Blood pressure guidelines from American Heart Association indicate that nearly half of all Americans (46 percent) have high blood pressure. Our Blood Pressure Self-Monitoring Program is four months and focuses on regular home self-monitoring of blood pressure using proper measuring techniques, individualized support, and education.
