YMCA LEARNING ACADEMY IS HERE FOR YOU

It comes to no surprise to anyone that in light of the current pandemic, school districts around North Texas are altering their plans in order to keep their students and faculty safe for the upcoming academic year. The YMCA continues to be a leader in youth development and education by meeting the needs of our families for over 130 years. We know as the school year rolls in, parents who have either returned to work or are still working from home need their children whose schools have become virtual to feel engaged, safe, and active throughout the day.

We are so excited to be able to offer YMCA Learning Academy this upcoming school year! YMCA Learning Academy is an in-person program that supports students who are virtually learning through their school district. To help your child stay on task, avoid backslides during their school's virtual learning program, and support our children’s academic, physical, and mental health the Y has created a fun, safe, controlled environment in which your child can continue their educational journey with the support of a great team. Y Learning Academy will be offered in select locations starting August 17, 2020. Small overall facility capacity to further ensure the health and safety of our children and families.
