YMCA IN SOUTH DALLAS DEMOLISHED TO MAKE WAY FOR NEW, MODERN FACILITY FOR NEIGHBORHOOD

Rubble and debris are what’s left of our Park South YMCA! After 55 years, the branch is finally getting a new look. The Park South YMCA doors closed in September to make way for a rebuild. The 16-million-dollar project will provide members with a dedicated wing for preschoolers with a private entry, new spaces for seniors and community gatherings, a pool, and a modern fitness center and lobby.

For the Dallas YMCA association, this is the 3^rd branch to undergo construction in the last year as a part of a multi-year growth strategy.
