Healthy Changes


The YMCA strives to strengthen the community and empower its people to create and live healthy, fulfilling lives. Healthy Changes aims to uphold this mission in a variety of ways: 

  • To break down barriers that may be impacting your ability to begin or maintain healthy habits
  • To build a strong understanding of nutrition and its impact on your physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing
  • To put into action what you've learned and to facilitate a lasting impact

What to expect:

The YMCA's Healthy Changes program aims to create a safe space for participants to learn, share their experiences, and grow. Each class is 1 hour long and will involve:

  • Relevant lectures on healthy topics
  • Fun and engaging discussions and feedback
  • Accountability and support from other peers and instructor
