Sports Leagues, Camps & Clinics
One of the Y’s core values is Youth Development. And our Youth Sports programs don’t shy away from that. Sports for Special Needs Kids
We strive for Special Needs kids to have a valuable experience playing sports that contribute to positive development. Our Adaptive Sports programs provide that outlet for development. These programs are specifically designed for kids with Special Needs, so there is nothing they cannot do.
Swimming lessons are a valuable skill for kids at an early age. At the Y, we want your child to build confidence in their swimming abilities, and that starts with learning to swim. To view swimming lessons and times at your branch, click here: Swimming Lessons
Swimming for Special Needs Kids
For anyone with special needs or disabilities, the Y offers the Adapted Swimming Program. This program is specifically designed for those with mental or physical disabilities or needs, so there are no limitations when it comes to swimming.
On a swim team, your child not only gains confidence in their swimming abilities, but they develop good sportsmanship in the water with their teammates.
