T-Ball, Baseball, and Softball at White Rock / Lake Highlands YMCA are all offered in the spring and summer seasons and is played with Lake Highlands YMCA. Our Youth Sports programs focus on family involvement, team building, positive self-image, and our core values: caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. All participants get equal playing time in games.

Participants should register based on the calendar grade of Fall 2022 to the end of the Summer 2023 school year.

Required: All participants must wear batting helmets, have a ball, glove and bat.  Catcher's gear and bases may be offered by the YMCA.

Games and practices are located near White Rock YMCA/Lake Highlands YMCA and neighborhood Dallas Parks and schools.  Older grades may play with other local YMCA branches.

Coaches: Are volunteers and require a Criminal Background Check registration. If interested in coaching, please indicate so on your registration form.

Friend/Coach request accepted on registration form but are not guaranteed.  YMCA reserves the right to add any player(s) to a roster if necessary.

Common FAQ's 

Pre-K and Kinder (T-Ball) are co-ed.

1st grade+ is separated into boys and girls divisions.

If grade divisions do not have enough players per grade, we will combine grades to make divisions (i.e., 3rd/4th-grade team)

Member/Nonmember Rate

If you are a member of the White Rock YMCA, you get a discounted rate for participating in youth sports programs offered by the branch. However, to qualify for the membership rate, you must maintain your family membership through half of the season (April 15th for the spring season). If you cancel your membership before halfway through the season, you are required to pay the difference between the member and nonmember rate.

Refund Policies

The refund amount given back will be determined by the date the refund is requested

Limited exceptions for emergencies only.
Refunds/makeups/transfers are NOT available for individually missed games/practices.

7 days or less to Season start date - after First Game = No refund

8-14 days to Season start date = 50% refund minus $10 processing fee and $25 uniform fee

15-21 days to Season start date = 75% refund minus $10 processing fee and $25 uniform fee

22-30+ days to Season start date = 100% refund minus $10 processing fee

YOUTH BASEBALL AND SOFTBALL CAMP

Emphasizing strong fundamentals, training sessions are designed to ensure your child is consistently able to progress in a safe and healthy environment.  Each participant is encouraged to bring their own water bottle, glove, bat, and helmet.
